Teams Defend Championship
The South Middle School and HCHS archery teams will defend their national championship this weekend at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds in Louisville.

Thacker Named Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum
Henderson County Schools has named Robin Thacker as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.  Mrs. Thacker will replace Rebecca Galloway who will be retiring this year. 

Stanley Named Assistant Superintendent of Administration
Henderson County Schools has named Marganna Stanley as the Assistant Superintendent of Administration.  She will replace Tom Hurt, Deputy Superintendent, who is retiring this year, and will begin her new position in July. 

South Heights Veteran Named Classroom Champion for Change
Kathey Norman, an intermediate reading teacher at South Heights Elementary School, was named “Classroom Champion for Change” at the National Project CHILD Conference this last weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida.
